Meet the Founder
Tracey Hawkins-Sydnor was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from Lincoln University, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in English, she went on to become an officer in United States Army and earn a Master’s degree in Management from Troy State University. After serving five years active duty and achieving the rank of Captain, Tracey decided to leave the military and pursue a career in the civilian sector.
This path led her to become a pharmaceutical sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. While excelling in this path, Tracey decided to return to her true passion: Human Resources and is now a Human Resources Manager for a large consumer company.
Tracey took her passion for youth and gift for creative writing to author 365 Girl. 365 Girl is an immediate call to action on raising the self-esteem, leadership, and re-enforcing positive decision making in girls ages 10-18.
The book is meant to challenge the mindset and decision making process of young ladies, so they make positive life choices. The book birthed the 365 Girl Foundation in September 2010. Under Tracey’s visionary leadership 365 Girl is currently participating in over 40 events a year in 3 states across the US.
Her down to earth approach and contagious energy make her extremely effective in working with and empowering young ladies. She has taken that same passion and enthusiasm for elevating young girls to empowering women to reach their next level.
Tracey has proven results in Leadership and Human Resources expertise her military leadership experience has provided a leadership foundation that is unmatched. Tracey was also recently crowned Ms. Southern California Woman of Achievement 2013-2014.
